主要内容：The modern technology of MDF powder coating will be presented. MDF powder coating offers a new approach achieving environmentally friendly, robust and economic furniture surfaces. The whole process of powder coating MDF will not lead to any VOC emission as powder coatings are manufactured using only solid raw materials and no solvents or other liquids will be required. In addition very high material efficiencies can be achieved by reclaiming overspray powder. This not only leads to good economics but also avoids any waste paint to be disposed. A successful powder coating process can only be run if 4 critical issues are under control: 1. Highly reactive powder, 2. Good quality MDF, 3. Good line and equipment design, 4. Product specification according to customer requirements/international furniture standards. Special attention will be put on discussion MDF qualities, and what quality parameters of MDF will lead to a successful powder coating process.
