报告题目:Understanding Metabolic and Signaling Processes Underlying Seed Oil Biosynthesis

报告摘要:Demands for nutritional, pharmaceutical, and industrial oils have risen dramatically. To increase oil production and produce oils with desirable fatty acids, it is necessary to understand genetic elements of metabolic pathways and signaling processes determining the efficiency of oil biosynthetic machinery. I will present some of the elements based on my published work. Meanwhile, a few priority areas for future oil research will be discussed.

郑志福简介：美国陶氏益农公司高级研究员。1996年毕业于南京农业大学和中国科学院发育生物学研究所，获博士学位。1996年至2000年，在美国堪萨斯州立大学生物系和加拿大国家科学研究院植物生物技术研究所做博士后。研究领域：植物和微生物分子和细胞生物学，植物生理生化, 植物遗传育种学和免疫学。研究方向：脂类和糖类代谢，次生代谢，植物激素代谢和信号传导，植物抗逆，植物和病原微生物互作的分子机制。
