Dr. Paul Ebner，Purdue University, Department of Animals Sciences, Assistant Professor，His research is centered on molecular microbiology as it relates to animal health and pre-harvest food safety. The current primary focus is on developing intervention strategies to more safely reduce pathogen load in food animals. Current extension efforts focus on issues related to concentrated animal feeding operations. Specific tasks include the development of educational materials examining the possible effects of CAFOs on public health and education programs targeted to extension educators, zoning board members, producers, and consumers.
